What I'd check before choosing one

For injectables, lasers, or other medical procedures, I would look beyond “5 stars.” Texas med-spa practices have medical-oversight requirements, and a Texas med-spa directory recommends verifying the named medical director and the current license of the person actually performing your treatment.

I'd specifically ask:

• Who will actually perform my treatment, and what is their license/credential?
• Who is the medical director?
• How often does that medical director participate in the practice?
• What happens if I have a complication?
• For filler, do you keep hyaluronidase on site?
• Can I see before/after photos of patients with similar anatomy and skin type?
• What is the total cost, including follow-ups or correction if needed?
• Are you recommending this treatment because it's appropriate, or because it's part of a package/membership?
